Am I Ready To Write A Memoir?
Sunday September 9th, 2:20pm
How do you meaningfully reflect on your life and are you ready to do so? What voice do you use and how do you humanize your family as characters? What liberties can you take when there are so many truths, and how do find a theme with universality? Leading this workshop is Reyna Grande, an award-winning author of The Distance Between Us, a memoir detailing her own coming-of-age as a child in Mexico and later as an undocumented immigrant in the US.
