Care Centered Networking and Skillshare

Sunday September 9th, 1:00pm

Storytellers and creators are pressured to network up and seek the right “investor” that will catapult us and our projects to greatness. We forget the power that lies in our relationships and natural networks.   What we need is around us and within us. In this skillshare, we explore cultivating creativity in our circles and communities, emphasizing the value of creating community that can sustain creative output: starting where we are, with what we have, and with those around us.

"We have a tendency to network up but it really is about networking across. Who's next to you? Who's struggling? Who's in the trenches with you? Who's just as hungry as you are? Those are the people that you need to build with...” — Issa Rae
